A few nights ago Alden was having some stomach pain around bedtime. I took her to the nursery to hold and calm her down. She was stretched out on my lap when Austin came upstairs with Asa. Alden saw Asa and began earnestly "talking" to him. He returned an equally earnest look to her, with sleepy eyes, and listened. It was the sweetest moment. It was like she was telling him all her troubles and he listened.
